I have many different devices but none can reach areas in the upper back/shoulder blades like this one does. It has provided relief where others couldn't! I haven't had it long but so far Love it.

This new design allows me to be able to easily massage areas that I could not access as easily with my other Bang massage gun. Love it!

I'm not one of those people who throws my arms around people's shoulders, proclaiming, "I love you guys!" So when I say I love this thing, I mean it. Unlike vibrating massagers that only make my skin itch, this one goes deep and untangles knots. The up-and-down motion of the head is akin to the masseuse you see on TV, pounding on someone's back with karate chop motions. It loosens up my tight shoulder muscles, which I have every day from working a nerdy job all day long in front of a computer. You can crank up the speed, but I rarely need to do that, as the low setting often yields an extra pounding if I hold it a certain way, as the head bounces off an especially knotted muscle. I've also mashed the thing into my butt, trying to get those elusive tight bands nestled deep within my luscious cheeks from sitting too long, and it does not slow down or get labored. It keeps right on cranking at the same speed. It feels reliable and solid, even after using it every night for a month. As a side note, for ladies wondering if this can double as a vibrator for those lonely nights, I would say NO. The movement on this head is percussive, meaning it whacks at you, rather than vibrating. You're likely to injure yourself trying to use it down there, unless you happen to like it really, REALLY rough.TIP: Using this on your shoulder blades can cause new cramps in the arm that's holding it. What I do is to sit with one knee bent up, then rest my arm on that. If you don't rest the gripping arm on something, it'll tire very quickly, because this massager isn't all that light. I'm not complaining about the weight though, because I'd rather have a sturdy device than a shoddy one.

I've had a couple of massagers that either had little power or the battery died. Not this one! It has as much power when you finish as when you started and the cord is long and easy to use. The heads slide in and out easily, but they stay in place! Perfection for sore muscles!

Works really well. Really helps relax my abdominal pain during shark week, this massager and a heat pad is a must for all the ladies that suffer serious pain every month. It's also great on sore muslces post workout. This massage kit comes with 4 attachments tailor made for this massager. This product comes with a 100d warranty and says they'll repair or replace the item free of charge if the product fails to operate.

I don't know how many massage contraptions I've purchased over the years. Except for one foot massager, I haven't been blown away by any of them until now. I was specifically looking for a corded wand massager because the cordless ones I have are such a pain. They either are never ready when I am or they lose power too quickly. This one is gentle yet powerful at the same time. I had it on the lowest setting on my right leg yet I could feel it a bit in my left foot. Very pleasant. This is the first time I've used something like this and legitimately felt the vibrations penetrating deeply into the tissue and muscle--not just having some machine hammering away at me, if that makes sense.More impressively, I've had this tightness that made it difficult and uncomfortable to raise my right leg. After only 5 minutes or less with this machine (I just got it last night), there was a 50% improvement in the discomfort and range of motion.I also tried this on my feet. It felt great. I can't wait to spend more time with it.

This has been a lifesaver and will change your life, guaranteed. I am an older male who is still active and sometimes I push myself pretty hard. My muscles tense up and my wife is unable to massage with her hands alone. THIS is better than a "normal" massage gun. OK, that is, it costs only electricity and the time of your partner, is more easily available and I have found that the percussion quality of this device works every bit as well as a typical therapeutic oil massage. Granted, it doesn't provide massage to the face, scalp, fingers, etc., etc., that a skilled massage therapist can do, but hits all the main targets, never gets tired, cramps, etc. and with its' long handle, one can get a fairly decent self-massage if a willing "masseuse" is not available. The length and weight of this device permit the user to apply just enough pressure to really get into the deep tissue where knots and pain reside. Sometimes, depending on the head used and the operators' technique, pain will be "discovered" residing in the shoulder blades, back, ribs, glutes, etc. that can then be massaged "out" through this device. Once that is done, vast amounts of tension leave the body, allowing for complete relaxation, deep, uninterrupted sleep and a much more relaxed state of mind. The vibration speed is adjustable. I like High (5th speed mode), my wife likes Low.Technique is very subjective, but I recommend the following for best results.1) Near the edge of the long side of your bed, pile 3-5 pillows on top of each other and place your upper body on the pillows. This allows your ams to fall downward, not outward and is similar to the experience one might have when on a massage table. Here, your Trapezius and Rhomboid muscles are accessible, as your shoulder blades have moved outward. Your legs and feet can be open naturally on the bed. You may wish to have just your feet off the end of the bed. A rolled up towel or blanket under the ankles may help here instead of feet off the bed. The downward facing head can be supported with a small pillow or two under the forehead as well, allowing access to the length of the back of the neck.2) Start gently with the top (neck, base of the skull) of the back side of the body and work downward doing one side at a time. Use care and avoid bony areas such as skull, ribs, elbows, ankles, etc. Small circles are best. Vary the pressure depending on the size, mass and direction of the muscle tissue. Larger muscles require more aggressive application and more massage time to relax. Experiment with your partner to find out his/her needs. Some slightly lighter pressure long strokes may feel great horizontally across the back/ribs, femurs, calves, or you may hate having that area massaged. Everyone loves having the bottoms of their feet massaged, especially the arches.3) Some areas on the front of the body may be massaged using this device, but use caution here.4) Use of a cotton sheet over bare flesh keeps you warm and prevents the massage machine head from pulling hairs, ouch! I highly recommend this item and would buy it again.

I suffer from lower back trauma as well as scoliosis and arthritis in my back. Even though I have a high tolerance for pain, my back often brings me to tears. The only thing I have found to help the pain is this deep tissue massager. I only use the flat, pancake, disk at full power and hold it in one spot for 5-10 seconds then move it to another spot. The long arm makes it easy for me to reach my entire back as needed. After about 1-2 minutes, my pain has gone away. THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I never leave home without it, just in case. NOTE - I never place it directly over the lower part of my backbone but I do place it on the soft tissue/muscles around my lower back. This is a MUST HAVE!!!!

I didn't have to have it high setting or use it longer than 10 minutes, my should knots feel better and I feel more relaxed like I could pass out. It's nicer since it has the pressure (though it's more vibrations than pressure in this case) I need. Usually when I have someone rub my shoulders they have to press in really hard and it hurts their hands, so I used to just have them walk on my back and get on their knees for the pressure. It was intense for them. So since I can do my own shoulders this way, it feels better to not have to rely on people anymore.I will admit that if you're bony like me: It might bounce a little so be careful with that. (I used the U-Shaped Attachment) I probably will use it about 4 times a day to get the knot to chilll out since just one go felt good for a few minutes. The knots I have are continuous and I have a hard time relaxing my shoulders. (I'm always tense) Basically Deep Tissue Is really important, just be sure to either lift when you're going to another area (If you're skinny) Because it will bounce a lot on bone and it'll feel good until you're done.So be sure to lift it up to move to the next area with a lot of muscle. I haven't needed it on high speed though, when i had it on my neck (low setting) my nose was vibrating and it tickled a lot. So be careful with yoru neck as well.Basically it's for people who have really bad knots and need them to go away, it will take more than once a day to get rid of them completely. I only did it for 10 minutes to prevent passing out with it on my shoulder. (You can mess yourself up that way, my friend did that while sitting at his computer desk.)Needless to say,I'm pleased with this item.

I used this massage tool begin with mild massage and then work up to deep massage so that I broke up tight tendons and fascia and it worked. I was able to heal a joint that not even my MD and Physical therapist was able to tell me how to heal. They would have left me in pain and left me to continue to damage my joints. Thanks to the massage took I’ve been gradually braking up scare tissue in my tendons and muscle facia and the joint are now finally able to move again. I highly recommend this tool (if used sensibly) for adhesions in your muscles, joints and fascia.

I love the ability to hold this easily. I had suffered with a tension knot in my left shoulder/back area that was causing extreme pain. It was so bad that I was referred to physical therapy because it was pinching nerves and causing numbness and tingling down my left arm. I also had limited mobility with turning my head to the left. 4 months of PT…minimal relief. Doctor recommended me to see specialist and have CT done. I decided to buy this massager after looking at reviews. Within ONE WEEK of using this daily and using muscle relaxer for 3 days, I had COMPLETE relief from that tension knot. This was the BEST investment.

This is Bang massager #2. I actually bought this same the original Bang Massage Gun hand held massager back in April, 2020! I use it every day on my shoulders. My old one still worked but was making a loud noise. After 3 years of almost daily use, I was so happy to find they still made them! I hope this one lasts as long. I have arthritis in my hands and it’s easy for me to hold and use. It’s not heavy like others I have tried. I have bulging cervical discs and shoulder issues and this helps to relax those muscles so I can sleep better. It’s a great product for the price. Highly recommend!

Good investment.I have pain from repetitive use muscles ; overused, strained muscles.Using this the first time, two or three, maybe seven minute sessions has helped a lot.Deep tissue massage does increase or stimulate blood circulation. The long handle lets you use it on your back.So far I've only used the round or large ball shaped attachment. You can sort of feel when one part of a long or large muscle or muscle group has relaxed and it doesn't take long, and over a sweatshirt,it slides very nicely.I think this thing does,in a few minutes, what might take an hour long massage to do. And because you're controlling where it goes and how long it stays there, and you can feel what it's doing, you can best judge how much or how little to use it. And instead of one long massaging action, because where the pain is,is where blood circulation needs to be stimulated, in shorter but multiple uses, you can stimulate blood flow with the massager, then stop and let it go back to normal, then use the massager again. There are thousands of good reviews for this and mine is just one more.I'm glad I got it.

I have owned and used a lot of percussion massagers. For the price these are excellent. I used to take take plastic pipes and extend the length of the handles on some of my orgiinal massage guns. Now i've got the gooseneck style stem which is awesome (and has some flex in it too). I give them as gifts and recommend them to people in serious pain. I disabled with severe fibromyalgia/Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome after a six month long attack in which everything from the diaphragm up seized.

I personally can only use the lowest setting because it's so strong. All of the attachments are extremely useful, and I found that the foam ball was my favorite. Hard to find a better ergonomic massager especially at this price.

I bought this close to six month ago and it keeps running strong. I lost a lot of the attachments, but kept the big round foam ball looking attachment, and I gave this to my barber for her aches and pains and just purchased another one.You cannot beat the price and with the long handle you can reach every part of your body.. I’ve used it for cramp, muscles, cramp legs, back pain, neck pain. It’s just a great tool. I just hope this next one works just as great - never had any problems with the first one!

Got this because my partner had a calf issue and I am terrible at giving massages due to my little hands and arm/tendon issues, and it works great. We use it on each other's calves and lower backs on a variety of settings and--unexpectedly--I found that I'm even able to use it on the insides of my forearms. It goes from pretty light to REALLY hard, and you can press down on it, hard, while it's going, to make the massage even deeper without feeling like you're going to break it.Overall, the product feels sturdy and durable, and I'm really glad I went for something in this price range rather than slipping into the cheaper range. (In fact, it's one of the few times in my life that I feel that a product was cheaper than it ought to have been, so, really, I feel like I got something in the $500 or even $600 range instead of $200) Apparently, it is a VERY reputable Canadian brand. It comes with four different heads but, after trying them all, we decided there isn't much purpose in switching from the basic one.A note on using it on your own back: While you can technically do this, thanks to the long handle, it still feels weird (as I imagined it would) since you clearly can't do that and have your back in a relaxed, normal position at the same time. It's especially weird trying to use it on your upper back but not half-bad for your lower back, actually, and of course you can definitely use it on your own calves and thighs.
Jeremy Gray
I've got a messed up body and use this to help temper muscles. The cost sounds like a lot, but I don't blink an eye. Four different attachments for different types of massage. It can be heavy after an extended period and if you're hitting harder to reach places, your hand may get tired. It does not have the same level of percussion as the ones that look like you're holding a drill, but this will definitely get the job done.

Guess what, after 6 months this machine still worksAnd yes, I still use it to release tension on my back after a days work

OMG!! this became a life saver. I ordered it so I could massage my back on the weekends, but I recently started working out again after 2 years and this is perfect for getting rid of the body aches. It comes with a total of 4 different heads that can be easily removed and put on by simply twisting them on/off. All the heads are of good size, but my favorite is the original one. It feels AMAZING and that's coming from a super ticklish person. The grip on the handle allows me to easily extend it over my shoulder to reach my lower back. I wasn't expecting to much from the quality because the price was mid-range (I paid $209 + hst), but it is actually super sturdy, my mom thought I paid 600+ for it, so when I told her the price, she decided to order one herself as well. What 's even better about it is that the speed can easily be adjusted to comfort and the charge lasts really long, I did about a 20 minute session last night and this morning I was running late to work, it's the best sleep I've gotten in a while, I could feel my back eased up a bit. If I could change anything, it'd be for it to move by itself by floating in the air, then it'd be completely perfect.

I regularly get bodywork and deep tissue massages done since I am a very active runner and swimmer and this definitely helps supplement those other massages. While this product doesn't replace a professional massage, it compliments it very nicely.Every day, after I work out, I have been coming home and working my major muscle groups for about 20 minutes with this massager. It is particularly effective at hitting the IT band, which most runners need to have loosened up. I also find it effective on my calves and quads. I apply a lot of pressure and turn the power on very high on the massager, but I it never hurts. I have used the massager over clothing but also directly on skin without any issue. You could certainly lotion or oil your leg to hit the IT band in one swift motion.I am not able to get my own back very well with the device. Although it has a large handle, you need to be able to apply pressure to the massager and I can't quite leverage it on my own. I have my husband use the device on my back. Some friends have also tried and seem to find it relaxing, but I really do think it is best for an athlete recovering from hard workouts. Finally, for some reason, my cat seems to like the sound that is emitted (it is like a very loud purr) and doesn't seem to mind getting a few moments of massage at a very low setting.Overall, if you are looking to supplement professional work, I highly recommend this massager.

The product itself works quite well. It's not incredibly high powered but it gets the job done at a fraction of the cost. The product plugs in to the wall which makes it easier to use for longer periods and not worry about battery life. This also helps limit the need to recharge it every few uses. The varied heads are easy to change and work well for different areas of the body.I don't know if the percussions per minute is accurate but I have found temporary relief after use. The key piece for others in that regard is to try to find what causes the pain and fix that. This is not a cure, it's a relief aid.I've used this fairly extensively in my few days of owning the product and do not see an issue with the product breaking. It would take a level of misuse in some capacity for that to occur. The head moves in a percussive vibrating fashion. The attachments all seem stiff enough to have a good overall effect and not wear down.

What a great thing to have around the house for when the pain kicks in. I didn’t think it would work that well and I didn’t think it would be so powerful but it is. And I can use it on myself. I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and back and I’m able to use this when things get bad. And it works great! Good value for sure.

Oh my goodness.. I cannot even explain how good this massager works for me! My husband used to have to massage my calf muscles and I’m not even exaggerating when I’m telling you he would sweat and be super exhausted by the time he was done and me on the other hand hardly had any relief. So my husband being tired of his “workout” it is to massage my calf’s, as he calls them, told me to do my research and purchase a massager. So I did my research and found this one. I was skeptical because of the unique shape, but I love this massager, now I can use this without having to tire my poor husband out and it works amazing! Just to tell you it’s so relaxing my husband used it the first time it arrived on me and I fell straight to sleep! I didn’t expect it to be so powerful but I do not regret purchasing this item! Thank you!

A screw came loose in the first one I ordered, which -- of course -- worried me that it simply wasn't a good product. WRONG! :) I just happened to get the inevitable rare dud that happens with virtually any manufactured product. That said, the replacement unit has lived-up to all the positive reviews that convinced me to try again. I love the length of the unit, which enables me to reach my back effortlessly and effectively. And the percussion power? Excellent! The speed control is like a button --- 5 diff speeds --- and it's hard to imagine not finding a speed that suits you.As for results? I've had this rotten case of Sciatica --- so bad that I'm exceeding daily recommended dosage of Ibuprofen and Naproxen, and I rarely EVER take pain medicine. Took the massager with me to work yesterday, and didn't take anything. Today I haven't even had to use it once, and virtually no pain.In short, three days with this product, and I'm achieving results that I didn't get with four PT sessions (with an excellent therapist) and two chiropractor visits. And finally, there's the price: A fraction of the cost of a "Theragun" that I'll bet aren't a bit better. So yeah, I'm happy!
Ann Moore
Use it for my hip and back for sciatic nerve pain. works great.

This thing was the answer to my prayers for something to help deal with my muscle tension! It's quite powerful, and you'll find all sorts of sore spots you never knew you had with this. Just a couple important things: 1) When using this on your face (or near any bony part of your body) use the deep tissue attachment (the spherical one) at an angle so it doesn't bounce off the bone and smack you in the head! It takes away from the massage when it happens. 2) Do not press hard into your muscles with this! It's a percussive massager meaning this thing will beat on your muscles at high speeds, its not a whimpy vibrating massager. I suspect that's why some have had problems with it breaking, just run it over you in a circular motion and you'll be fine! Only part I wasn't too keen on was the attachment that's supposed to feel like fingers. It's just not for me. The accupoint one though... that thing is great for getting out knots! I'd recommend this to anyone who feels sore all the time!

My husband and I both work out, so sore muscles is a thing in our household. We’ve used every mode on this massager and omg, sooo worth it.

I’ve had a good solid weeks worth of use of this massager and so far it’s performing as I expected it to. It’s both strong enough and gentle enough to help maintain my neck / collarbone areas tightness along with hands & feet where I can’t utilize my heavier hitting Theragun Pro or my Thumper. Just understand it’s limitations and it’s strengths and you shouldn’t be disappointed. It’s certainly not a strong deep tissue massager but it is a massager with few different tips that’s made by a solid manufacturer. The 5 variable speed adjustability with the push switch and the different tips included with this massager make it worth the below $250 price tag.

I was looking for a percussion tool and chose this one. I feel like I'm holding some kind of futuristic club when using it... It's quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be. It feels just shy of a couple of pounds, so some folks may fatigue if reaching overhead or behind. I find myself using the standard attachment the most frequently... It just feels the most productive. The pointy piece can feel pretty aggressive, so proceed with caution in sensitive areas, the fingertip is my least favorite, but some make like it, and the flat piece I think is the best for gentle massage. But percussion tools are designed for PERCUSSION, not digging and moving about simultaneously. If used properly... pick it up and relocate it to apply pressure to another spot, I think it will last just fine. Physics are not on your side with this one of you have a tendency to move it around while applying pressure. You might be able to get away with that technique using gentle to moderate pressure with the flat piece. If you're using this for physical rehab, take out with you to your next appointment with your therapist and ask them for some tips on use. Overall, I think it's a great value and it does exactly what I hoped it would do. Best of luck!

I had these massive knots & pulled muscles that even muscle relaxers couldn't address. I can't afford massages ( which would take more than one appointment) & so out of desperation & based on reviews, I bought it. OMG! The safest setting is pretty hardcore & my muscles were so bad enough, that I could only take the kneading for a couple of minutes at a time. Within 2 days, every knot, plus the 2 pulled muscles were gone! I have severe back issues & so at the end of the day, my muscles were sore that the next day, was a battle to get out of bed. Now, at the end of the day, I use this to massage those sore muscles & I feel pretty good the next day. My friend bought one (she didn't fully think she would like it) but was desperate also. Now, she is buying one for her son as a bday gift. And because of the long handle, easy to reach under the shoulder blades and lower back muscles! What an amazing product & so reasonably priced!!!

This Bang GN1 has exceeded my expectations. While it is a bit heavy, I prefer that as opposed to having a flimsy unit that will break easily. The weight distribution is such that it is easy to use to reach back and neck and I've even leaned up against it on couch and used it hands free. The U attachment is my favorite and it is the one that's made with the plastic. The other attachments while they are the hard plastic (except the ball which is a dense foam), it all depends on how hard you push so it's easy to use them without hurting. I'm also pleased with the power and strength of the percussion. It's plenty enough but I was surprised that it really does not feel like a percussion hitting you, more like a strong vibration- but it is good.

My husband landscapes and get really sore most days. This massager is perfect to get out all his nots an stiffness. Also we don't have to worry about it dying because we plug it right in the wall and use it that way...but battery lasts like 3hrs minimum. But dunno why feels more powerful when plugged into wall.

After almost two years of constant back pain and hips that would go out of alignment, I am fixed! The first time using the Accupoint Massage head on my lower back was absolute torture. My husband could barely touch my back with the massage head that we have lovingly dubbed "the devils finger tip". After a few days of use, I was a new woman. I could bend over and touch my toes again. I could stand for hours without pain and fatigue. I used to panic if I had to stand up for a long time. The trick is to massage from the spine outwards. When you find a spot that really hurts, just keep the devils finger tip in that spot for 10-15 seconds until the pain goes away and then move to the next spot.I loved this deep tissue massager that I bought 10 more of them for the rest of the members in my family for christmas. My family is obsessed. I'd give this 10 stars, if I could.

Works great Just one thing Placement of on an off switch gets in the way when using it over the shoulder of back an turns up an down the intensity.

Excellent!! Easy to maneuver due to ergonomic design, & gives great massage with moderate to firm pulse pressures, so not to bruise the muscles, as other brands tried in the past, or were too weak. This model is near perfect! As a retired healthcare worker, is professionally reco'd!!

I loved the long handle to get to the hard -to -reach spots. Strong vibration for deep massaging. Product is well built. Comes with 4 attachments. Very easy to use and make setup changes. Read the quick sheet insert that is enclosed with product. Pay attention to how you attach the attachments. Should last a long time with some common- sense usage. Never carry or handle using just the cord. Bang products are a great value for the money (i own their massage gun too). I highly recommend this massager.

I have used this once, and I love it! It is easy to use. Relaxing all while working on your sore and tight muscles. Even working on the knots! Definitely worth the money!!

This percussion unit has several heads to pinpoint various areas. I use it on my back and shoulders. It’s light weight, and I can hold it long enough to release my tension. Great buy.
Mary B. I bought this lamp for my sewing room and it is just what I needed to illuminate my projects. It’s adjustable lighting helps with different fabric shades to get the best stitches. Easy on my eyes and well worth it.
The massage helps control my husband’s nerve pain! It is easy for him to manipulate over his shoulder so he uses it several times daily.

I started to deduct a star because the Bang GN1 - as nice as it is - is still no Asian woman with the finger and hand strength of the Incredible Hulk, but it's still dang good ... and it would be racist of me to fault it for it's heritage. In all seriousness, I like this massager at least as good if not better than the much more expensive models I've tried at Bestbuy (the theragun). The long handle means I can reach all sorts of areas on my back that ache and which can't really be worked just using my own hands. The multiple heads that come with are a huge plus as well (that and the ease of changing them)! I'll probably never use the pointy one, but for deep knots, it's my wife's favorite. The u-shaped one feels great when using it to straddle your spine, but I prefer the default (ball-shaped) head for general massage. And the big flat one is nice for loosening up leg muscles or on areas where it might be painful due to bones or anything else to use one of the other heads. I certainly recommend it to you, but if anything changes I'll be sure to update this review accordingly.

this particular model far exceeds my expectations, I struggled with tension in my back from stress and not taking care of myself. So I'd get this stress knots in my back I have anxiety too, so I have panic attacks that require alpralozam. The tightness of my muscles in back would trigger panic attacks. So this Long handled high powered product became a savior for me. Highly recommend

I purchased this massager because I have fibromyalgia and lower back issues HOWEVER I had read on the internet somewhere that massaging cellulite can help dissolve the pockets of fat on back of legs. I had no idea it was true!! I immediately went for the back of my legs and after only 1 use my legs look so different! I am amazed and I am going to keep using it (with the round flat hookup) on the back of my legs after my exercise routine. I’d give this product ten stars if I could! The battery life is great, no problems at all. I will buy one again, someday when I need to.

My wife and I are on cement all day. And even though we have Gel insoles in our shoes sometimes our feet still feel sore. Along with our backs and our necks from the stress of every day life. The Bang GN1 is awesome. We have used this at least 3-4 times a week since the end of Aug. We feel that this was a very good purchase.

I bought this not really knowing how it would work for me, and within one day, I got my money's worth. For $224 shipped, this is a give-away.Some of the heads are more useful than others.I think that the machine is perfect: not too harsh and not too soft. Some people complain in the reviews that it is too rough, that is hard for me to understand, like I said, it is perfect.I will be using this--and have been using this--every day all over the mild injuries that I have.It paid for itself on day one--very pleased. For those that don't know, tendonitis on various areas, plantar fasciitis etc are swelling issues from fluid build up, and this machine alleviates that swelling away.I used it on a ganglion cyst on my wrist, and that cyst is now gone (it dissipated the fluid in the cyst).Beyond paid for itself already. This is my way of saying thanks to Bang in creating a great product that helped me out! Great job, engineering team & anyone else in the company that helped get me this healing device for such a reasonable price.
